Finally, its the almighty... I have to thank !

Dear Blog,
It is indeed a pleasure in scribbling here today. As Shahrukh Khan mentioned in the movie - 'Om Shanti Om', "Our lives are like bollywood movies (or for that matter any movie) where in the end everything becomes normal and everyone is happy, and if everyone is not happy then it is not the end of the movie." It was exactly this that happened !

In the afternoon, we had our PIP demo and it was smooth..... Thank God, I was not asked any VHDL questions. Also, whatever questions they asked me about the circuitry I was able to answer, I guess 90% of the answers that I gave were right. Also, I didn't feel good when Frankie was unable to answer the circuit questions. I think it was all because Ritwik didn't explain the stuff well (or he didn't explain it at all !). Infact, what I answered was because I had done significant amount of self studying on filters and also built my own filters even though my circuit was not used in the project. Also, I learnt more while I worked with Eric's group to sort out the filter stuff. Anyway, all that worked all right in the end !

The project demo ended. We met in the meeting room to discuss and maybe began writing the report. Then we decided to celebrate the end of first term of PIP. We went to a restaurant called Shabusen - Japanese Restaurant (Serves Great Korean Buffet !) at Granville & 14th Ave. This too was a completely new experience for me and I guess it was another formal welcome to Canada's multicultural heritage. This night was gonna be awesome. I just knew it !

Then, dinner ended and I guess the $ 116 + $ 24 that we paid were definitely worth the fun and refreshment that we got.

Such a nice experience, it was simply wonderful ! Now its time to study for exams and I guess I will definitely write to my blog once exams are over.
